Elderberry Pond is a Certified
Organic Farm in the Fingerlakes region of upstate New York. We have a country food store and a fine dining restaurant
on the farm. We produce a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and cut flowers on 36 acres of tillable
land. We also produce meats from heritage pigs and chickens, which are fed all natural antibiotic free grains and organic
produce from the farm. We pride ourselves on offering fruit and vegetable varieties known for their culinary qualities. For
example, we grow over 50 varieties of Certified Organic Apples including some specifically for baking and others
for sweet and hard cider production.
The Restaurant at Elderberry Pond is
located on the farm in a wooded lot overlooking the orchards, vineyards and seasonal vegetable plantings. Our menu features
fresh produce picked daily, pasture raised meats from our farm and other organic or sustainable farms, fresh seafood selections
and an excellent selection of wines, beers, coffees and teas from around the world.
The Country Food Store The country food store is located
on the farm next to the pond. It is in a small field stone building which was a community butcher shop in the mid 1800's. Beginning
in early June we sell our farm produce, meats, salads, soups and light entree items at the store. This year we will
be offering more dishes prepared at the restaurant for sale at the farm store. The store is open on Friday and Saturday each
week from 10 AM until 5:30 PM June through November.
The Farm
at Elderberry Pond - Much of the 100 acres that we farm has been
in farm production since the mid 1800's. For the past 25 years it has been farmed using sustainable and organic farming practices. The
